Right, it’s DDT. Now we know it’s not a good thing to breathe or drink. Things are getting better.

Yeah, but “progress” away from elms? What can replace them? By the way, where was this photo taken?

There’s nothing quite like the old elms — but not even DDT could have saved them. (But we do have some eagles in the city again.) I don’t know where the picture was taken. Any guesses? Appreciate your comments, as always, Bill.
